even if you change to git+ssh, it is likely not everyone can. If I were
you, I would report it as a bug/missing feature (or consider making a patch
for it).

I put my git password in .git/confit
[remote origin]

fetch = +refs/heads/*:refs/remotes/origin/*
I'm aware that's not a great idea because of security
