Re: [git-users] How to use Git on a stand alone website?

If you want to self host your git projects, take a look at GitLab
(more complete, but harder to deploy)
or Gogs (simpler, but much easier to deploy).

[git-users] How to use Git on a stand alone website?

2015-10-16 Thread Ivan Ferrero
Hi all I'm planning to create a website similar to GitHub but related to a
specific topic.

How can I install this Git on a custom domain?
Where can I find a step by step guide?
I'm searching in the web but I only find Windows/Mac/Linux installation
guide.

The goal is to create a website that is a hub for projects related to the
specific topic: this is why I prefer a stand alone website (not the already
set up GitHub).

Any other suggestion is always welcome, of course! :-)
