Sorry but we have nothing to do with libgit2.

I'd say filing an issue is a sure way to get in contact with the
project's developers (though honestly, from cursory reading I failed to
see what's the essense of your problem with libgit2).

Note that the project's page suggests asking a question on
StackOverflow, tagging it [libgit2].  You could do just that.
