Hello Konstantin, thank you for your answer. Yes I have exactly the same problem as discussed on stackoverflow but I haven't found a solution yet. If I print the log of the Toplevel- Makefile which defines the version information I only see 2 two commits between "Linux 2.6.31-rc1" and "Linux 2.6.3
