I installed Arial and Courier New from my Windows PCto my Ubuntu server and after I've cleared the font cache (# fc-cache -v) the issue doen't occure anymore. But now I'm getting another error: ~/progit/latex# ruby makepdf de de: Parsing markdown... done Creating main.tex for de... done Running XeTeX: Pass 1... failed with: ! Extra }, or forgotten $.
