I will check with gerrit group.
Since gerrit has its own way to check patch set differences and I am more 
used to check differences by git, 
that is why in the beginning I post here to see if anyone who is familiar 
gerrit/git can give me some suggestion.

This is a git user list, I suspect you'll have more luck in getting a
good answer to this question if you send it to a gerrit user list
instead, e.g. here http://groups.google.com/group/repo-discuss.
