happening in terms of shells and paths. In practice, I really don't know where
to put my hands to set the path of fortran inside "~/.profile" (honestly, given

@techee I don't know how to edith the PATH but the "temporary workaround" works
perfectly. By the way, just to let you know, even if MacOS Catilina suggests to
adopt zsh as default, my login shell has never changed: it is still /bin/bash.

Just to let you know (probably you know it already): updating the shell from
"bash" to "zsh" does not change the practical result, in that fortran keeps on
being "not found" (a colleague of mine tried it today).
By the way, this is the Terminal of a MacBook Air after Catalina.
