I searched almost everywhere regarding this issue and changing the keyboard to
Canada is the solution that worked for me.

@21deepakthakur after adding, press ALT+SHIFT to change to the English (Canada)
layout.

while pressing . key it doesn't get typed. Have to press it twice and . gets
typed twice like this ..
I am facing the problem in my windows 10 pro OS.
