Having something like "Show sidebar" don't make super much sense when its
something you can toggle.
So it says "Show sidebar" both when its enabled and disabled.
Its like having a light switch with the text "Turn on the light" regardless of
the light being on or off.
If you really want to use
It was "Display", not "View".

The word "extension" seems to be used differently maybe make it the same:
"filename extension", "filetype extension", "file extension".

I think the placements of the buttons like OK, Apply, Cancel is not using the
same style as other software on Windows 7.
Like in Geany the buttons might be "Cancel OK" from left to right but i think
other software is using "OK Cancel".
And when you try to close an unsaved document its "Cancel

The instructions on https://www.geany.org/Contribute/Translators says to run
"msginit -l ll_CC -o ll.po -i geany.pot" but there is no geany.pot file in the
po folder.
Is this an error?
I see a link to the pot file at the bottom of:
https://i18n.geany.org/
So i guess i just take it from there
Would it not easier to tell translations to get the pot file at
https://i18n.geany.org/ and rename it and change the header a bit if its
updated every day?
That way translators dont need to setup msginit and make and stuff.

In Windows 7 control panel where you can see a list of installed applications
you can se info in columns like name publisher installation date size and
version.
For Geany 1.33 there is no data for the size column.
So i suggest adding the size info.

I dont know the details or what is best i just see it from a users perspective.
The user wants to use the software so the user searches for it with the
built-in software like gnome-software and it would be nice that the user could
have it all in the language they use for a more complete
Ok i dont know what the best way to do it is.
Maybe add the strings translations in the po files is best so its the same
place.
Its nicer when things are translated rather when partly translated.
Like the stuff the users seens at first like when finding and installation.

I would say the only 3 translated strings are incorrect with large letter K, V,
H in Kolonne, Venstre, Højre which should be small.

And a lot of fuzzy with "Flyt det valgte til højre/venstre" which is not

I'm trying Geany 2.0 so see if I can find anything that might needs fixing.
If I right click in the Notes tab in the Message window and select insert emoji
there is a flag section.
But there are no emojies in the flag section.
Maybe remove/hide sections that have no emojis or add the flags.

"_Join Lines" is not translated in latest release.
The status bar translation is still not translated so i guess its not the same
cause.

Maybe change "Miscellaneous" and "Various" to something more specific telling
what it is rather than just that is it something unknown.

I downloaded and installed https://download.geany.org/geany-2.0_setup.exe again
and that fixes missing translations like
https://github.com/geany/geany/issues/3621 but the status bar is still partly
in english.

"None" in the menu item at the bottom is not translatable.
Perhaps the " (None)" part could just be removed since it already says "Without
encoding".

This dialog is really wide.
It's not possible to select the text with the URL so it might not be so nice
having to visit that URL by typing what you see manually.
No but i tried with -c now and then i get the translated string.
But does they mean that all users have to manually figure out how to get a
fresh configuration when changes are made to the translation?
Then if i switch between languages like if i want to test Geany in danish and
