Thanks for your quick response. I tried to install Gitorious on Ubuntu
using Oracle VM (on Windows 7 ) following the article on setting up

While installing the required

workable for Ubuntu. That said, setting up Gitorious is still somewhat
complicated and most people run into a snag or two along the way. Which
