I would like to call everyone's attention to the NetHope project, a consortium of ten (and growing) international non-profit relief and development agencies who have banded together to bring Internet connectivity the "last hundred kilometers" to the project areas in which we work around the globe. We are using some of the latest satellite technology like the portable Regional BGAN broadband connections, with a strong partnership with Cisco and others. Details are available at <www.nethope.org>
