attempting to build a cygwin ghc

The windows 6.4.1 ghc puts ^M at the end of each line when using ghcii.sh or plain old ghci.exe I therefore attempted to build ghc on cygwin. Everything went fine until what appears to be a final build step when it looks for a package called unix and cannot find it. Shell transcript attached. I
