We should be using Unicode left/right single quotes if the locale
supports it (U+2018, U+2019). Better still, use a different color for
quoted code fragments if the terminal supports it.
You could make the highlighting
The windows 6.4.1 ghc puts ^M at the end of each line when using
ghcii.sh or plain old ghci.exe
I therefore attempted to build ghc on cygwin. Everything went fine
until what appears to be a final build step when it looks for a
package called unix and cannot find it.
