Yes, after it failed _without_ changing the working compiler, I modified
this one, too, i.e. I modified both...

Just to be sure, I changed it, "make clean"'ed and compiled it again... I
checked, that the right ghc-asm.prl is in the @INC-Path and that it is
modified, also in both compilers... 

Nevertheless,  it still BUS ERRORs. 

More ideas? Is there a way to track the problem down?
