The same happened to me a few minutes ago on HP-UX10. Simple fix:
Compile your own lndir from fptools/glafp-utils/lndir (Plain old
"cc -o lndir lndir.c" suffices,

maybe I'd better taken the warning seriously [..so you'll only want to
upgrade if you are a build-from-source junkie ..], but I didn't. Here
