The hang we observe is not something specific to Gluster. I've
observed this kind of hangs when a filesystem which is in use goes
offline.
For example I've accidently shutdown machines which were being used
for mounting nfs, which lead to the client systems hanging completely
and required a hard re
Hi all,
The recent rush of reviews being sent due to the release of 3.7 was a
cause of frustration for many of us because of the regression tests
(gerrit troubles themselves are another thing).
W.R.T regression 3 main sources of frustration were,
1. Spurious test failures
2. Long wait times

Just a heads up on gogfapi. It is not complete as the directory
listing functions are yet to be implemented and it hasn't been tested
a lot.
The gogfapi package replicates golang's file API, which makes it very
easy to convert an existing go application to support gfapi.

Vijay ran `git gc` on the repository at the backend. There is also a 'Run
GC' button on the project configuration page which should do the same.

Humble has blocked submit/merge access on the glusterfs project for
now. We'll re-enable it once we've fixed the problems.

The review.gluster.org git repository for glusterfs seems to be corrupted.
The gerrit log is complaining about some missing git objects, which is
not allow git pulls to happen.
I'll be investigating the problem and keep updating here.

The problem was nbslave71. It used to be picked first for all changes
and would fail instantly. I've disabled it now. The other slaves are
working correctly.

Looks like someone else is on it as well.
Some space has been freed. Can anyone test if you can send review requests now?

Several of the changes have now been merged on master. When the changes
have been backported to 3.7, please add them to the etherpad. We'll be
looking at it for changes to be merged once the moratorium is removed.

The bug-id extraction method in the compare-bug-version-and-git-branch
was buggy. Which lead to some valid changes being marked as invalid.

The change being tested was a pure GlusterD change, so this is most

I'm currently running the test in a loop on slave0. I've not had any
failures yet.
I'm running on commit d1ff9dead (glusterd: Fix conf->generation to
stop new peers participating in a transaction, while the transaction
is in progress.) , Avra's fix which was merged yesterday on master.
