I'm trying to setup a Wan gluster cluster with 8 servers ( 4 on each site) with
replication and distribution. Is there someone who has Wan experience with
gluster ?

Hi
Due to time constraints, booster has gone untested for the last couple
of months. I suggest using unfsd over fuse for the time
being. We'll be releasing an alpha of the NFS translator
somewhere in March. Let me know if you'd be interested in doing
early testing?

I have done some testing on wan with gluster. sorry to say that its
synchronous transfer and not async. this means that if you open/write a
file to your server it takes long time to open/write it because it waits
for the slowest server to finish... so if your Internet connection on

I've been asked to share some rebuild times on my large gluster
cluster. I recently added another more storage (bricks) and did a
full ls -alR on the whole system. I estimate we have around 50
million files and directories.
Gluster Server Hardware:
