Dear Krutika,
Sorry for asking so naively but can you tell me on what factor do you base that
the client and server event-threads parameters for a volume should be set to 4?
Is this metric for example based on the number of cores a GlusterFS server has?
I am asking because I saw my GlusterFS vo
I did a typo during the initial setup but corrected it. I do see a few
files in the .trashcan folder that were created. However, gluster stopped
about 3 hours after I enabled the feature. I don't have anything else in
the logs than these entries.

glusterfs-3.6 version is no more active and not supported by community. You
should upgrade to the latest which is 3.10 (long term maintenance). If you
want to explore more, then you can choose to upgrade to 3.11 (short term
maintenance) which has more features but has a life of only 3 months.

Hi,
Release tagging has been postponed by a day to accommodate a fix for a
regression that has been introduced between 3.11.0 and 3.11.1 (see [1]
for details).
As a result 3.11.1 will be tagged on the 21st June as of now (further
delays will be notified to the lists appropriately).
Thanks,

All,
Over the week-end, one of my volume became unavailable. All clients could

Hi,
I have some blocked transactions. Does anybody have some advise on how I
could mend this because I am unsure where to start?
I believe this broke after I issued some set auth.allow commands:

All,
I currently have 2 bricks running Gluster 3.10.1. This is a Centos
installation. On Friday last week, I enabled the trashcan feature on one of
my volumes:
gluster volume set date01 features.trash on
I also limited the max file size to 500MB:

Thanks Gaurav!
1. Any time estimation on to when this fix would be released?
2. Any recommended workaround?
Best,

Couple of things:
1. Like Darrell suggested, you should enable stat-prefetch and increase
client and server event threads to 4.
# gluster volume set performance.stat-prefetch on

Have you tried with:
performance.strict-o-direct : off
performance.strict-write-ordering : off
They can be changed dynamically.
