Hey, Can you give us the volume info output for this volume? Why are you not able to get the xattrs from arbiter brick? It is the same way as you do it on data bricks. The changelog xattrs are named trusted.afr.virt_images-client-{1,2,3} in the getxattr outputs you have provided. Did you do a

Here is the process for resolving split brain on replica 2: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Storage/2.1/html/Administration_Guide/Recovering_from_File_Split-brain.html It should be pretty much the same for replica 3, you change the xattrs with something like: # setfattr

You can try kicking off a client side heal by running: ls -laR /your-gluster-mount/* Sometimes when I see just the GFID instead of the file name I have found that if I stat the file the name shows up in heal info. Before running that make sure that you don't have any split brain files:

I definately prefer replica 2 arbiter 1. It makes more sense and is more accurate, since that scenario has only two copies of the actual data. -wk On 12/20/2017 2:14 AM, Ravishankar N wrote: Hi, The existing syntax in the gluster CLI for creating arbiter volumes is `gluster volume

I think the replica 2 arbiter 1 is more clear towards the intent of the configuration. I would also support : replica n ,,..., arbiter m ,,... as that makes it very clear what brick(s) should be the arbiter(s). On Wed, 2017-12-20 at 15:44 +0530, Ravishankar N wrote: > Hi, > > The existing syntax
