we set the followig options today:
performance.read-ahead=on
performance.write-behind-window-size=4MB
performance.cache-max-file-size=10
performance.write-behind=off
performance.cache-invalidation=on
server.event-threads=4
client.event-threads=4
performance.parallel-readdir=on
It's highly not recommended, but I have managed to downgrade from 7.1 to 6.5 by
just downgrading the rpms and rebooting (which is actually not necessary) the
system.
I guess that it's enough to just:
1. Kill all processes on the node (if you got no pending heals)

we have massive problems with our replicated volumes since we upgraded
to 8.2-3.

Dear James,
we have exactly the same problems.
Could you describe what you did to discover which of your bricks had the
worst file count discrepancy and how you find out that all clients
matched after shutting down this daemon?
