I am finding a number of problems:
1) if i read an email, for example on my phone, it sometimes then doesn't
show up on my computer.

I'm having an issue finding older emails (6 months+).
I haven't deleted any, but when I check my sent items, I can only see
emails from 2013 (since about July).
Where are the older ones? I've been using this for years.
