[Gmail-Users] restore mail and contacts to tablet

I accidentally tapped an icon on my new ASUS tablet and "disabled" the Gmail Contacts icon. Now neither the Contacts nor Gmail itself can be seen in my Apps, and their icons have disappeared from the home screen of my tablet. Does anyone have an idea of how to restore these to the tablet?

i know you all take care of all questions on gmail but i am a translator and use google.translate.com a lot all of a sudden, when you put something in the left hand side, nothing shows up on the language you want/need it translated into. do any of you know if some hacker threw a wrench into
