How would Google know in any case if that was the person's real name, or if

They are simply prohibited from making the account, once they are old
enough to create it, I do not believe there are any restrictions on what
the name could be, apart from the normal restrictions
Google will not allow user under a certain age (depends on country)
have their own Google account. For the US, that age is 13.

own names when they open a Gmail account?
If so, can their parents intervene to change the name for them, or will
Google not allow anyone to change the name until the user is old enough?
