go the menu Tools > Options > Axes
the pull down list Axes mode Full grid is probably activated
you can choose a few other options
sometimes that helps

in Gmsh the correct syntax for a Point
Point(n) = {x, y, z, cl};
where cl is the characteristic length of the mesh produced around the
point
it looks like cl is missing in your file

I am using windows 64 bit gmsh 5.3 and I can't turn the green bounding
box off. Whenever I save the file

do you have a structural software (open source) that can handle this

but it works as well on 2.11
