Ok, I see that the windows32 version is ok, but the windows64 one still looses 
the information about embedded surfaces.

Is this gmsh-svn-Windows64.zip (2017-03-16) that I find under 
http://gmsh.info/bin/Windows/? Because this version still does not catch 
embedded surfaces in the unrolled geometry file...
