When I type FN-downarrow, which reduces the screen brightness,
it displays a message on the console.
That is a pain in the neck. Merely typing a key should display any
such message.

When I type FN-rightarrow, which reduces the audio volume,
it not only displays an annoying message on the console.
It also generates a character, F14. Magic FN-combinations
should not generate terminal input.
