Hello Christian, To permanently enable root login to gnome under Debian, edit the /etc/gdm/gdm.conf file. In the [security] section of the file, add the following line: AllowRoot=True After doing this, you need to reboot or just restart the gdm for the change to take effect. Hope this helps,

Hi Petra, For Ubuntu 6.06, you need to set GTK_MODULES to empty before starting Firefox (1.5.0.x). Like this, [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$export GTK_MODULES= [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$firefox Or you can download firefox 2.0 beta. I think currently firefox doesn't work well with gnopernicus flat review
