Hello Christian, To permanently enable root login to gnome under Debian, edit the /etc/gdm/gdm.conf file. In the [security] section of the file, add the following line: AllowRoot=True After doing this, you need to reboot or just restart the gdm for the change to take effect. Hi all, I am running latest Debian and it doesn't allow me to log in as root in Gnome How do I do that?
