It seems you broke string freeze in rev 1175 in gnome-volume-manager
[1].
Could you please revert the patch, and either ask officially for string
freeze break or branch for GNOME 2.18 before applying the patch again?

Devhelp has branched for 2.18. Any 2.18 development continues on the
gnome-2-18 branch.
The plans for trunk is first of all to commit outstanding patches in
bugzilla.
