If anybody else wants to do it, please step up, otherwise I would
probably propose the list for removal as it hasn't been used a lot in

string from translation for 3.2.x? This one shouldn't be shown to a user
often, it's rather rare string, when a syntax of a filter doesn't match,

The region panel of control center allows the user to change their
configured locale. The problem is, the string says:
Select a display language
but the effects don't take effect until next login. This is pretty
confusing. We'd like to something like:

Well, I proposed it over a year ago, and the patch went back and forth
a few times since then. If it's rejected, I'll just commit to master
post branch, although that seems like a shame.
Doesn't look like a big deal for me, so 1 of 2 from i18n.
