Here is a very simplified implementation of the previous suggestion:
window.onload = function() {
var ln = window.navigator.language||navigator.browserLanguage;
window.location.href = 'https://help.gnome.org/misc/r
A quick search in stackoverflow returned this:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/53468548/detect-language-with-javascript-and-redirect-to-another-page
With a very simple modification in the language-based redirection it could
do the trick
Hope it helps :-)

Help with that is welcome:

Oh, the previous release notes work without explicit /cs on the end,
only based on the browser header.
Thanks

It doesn't seem to have language selector or browser content negotiation
for switching languages manually or automatically, but the translation is
there. It is a new implementation, to be improved.

Hi,
The GNOME 2.28 release notes are now available for translation:
http://l10n.gnome.org/module/release-notes/
If you had a previous translation of former release notes, just upload
the old translation po file in a comment action in DL, and you'll be
able to obtain a merged po file. For French,
The GNOME 2.20 release notes are almost ready for translation. On approx
September 12th I will email here with details, so you will have one week
to translate them before the release on September 19th.
So please reserve some time for this translation and tell me if it will
not be enough time.
