Normally, after "Ready for submission" (Klaar voor committen) you
should see an "Submit to repository" (Naar repository inzenden)
action.

In this particular case, my bet is that you need first to enable your
language in
https://gitlab.gnome.org/Teams/Engagement/release-notes/-/blob/gnome-3-36/help/Makefile.am
-- I suggest that you create a merge request adding Netherland
translation also enabling that language in Makefile.am.

Forgive me for bothering you with this, but I still do not get it.
Perhaps my commit experience has become a bit rusty ): Ok, I went
through all the steps again.

1. "Ready for submission" (Klaar voor committen) I chose the file on my
PC (button Browse)

2. "Reserve to submit" (Reserveren voor inzenden).
??? Here I should get "Submit to repository", but instead I get "Inform
of submission"

What I do NOT get is "Submit to repository". I have committed another
translation (gnome-control-center) where I do get this step, and here
all goes well.

I suppose that this is why the status bar at the top is still red and I
see 0% 0 (green) 0 (red), see

https://l10n.gnome.org/vertimus/release-notes/gnome-3-36/help/nl/

Hello Rafael,

I will go through the steps again so I can explain what is happening.

On [1] I reserved the module for proofreading again, then I uploaded the
fully translated file from my PC.
It now shows 155 (green) / 0 / 0, but there is a button "Help compiling"
which, when clicked, shows the message about 'Gresik', see [2]

Could you be more clear on what is the error message you are getting?

When I click on the [2] link, which I assume is the URL
https://l10n.gnome.org/HTML/574645/index.html, I see your translated
version of the Release Notes. This translated page is expected when
clicking the "Build help" button in a documentation module in Damned
Lies.

I do not know what this means, so I will not continue as yet. I am
afraid it will end up in the same red status bar at the top and a status
0% 0 0 115.

Please notice the stats bar is still all red with "0 0 115" (0%
translated) because you *did not* push the translation file to the
source code repository, you simply archived the actions (i.e. you
discarded all edits).

[DL]String additions to 'epiphany.master'

2020-03-07 Thread GNOME Status Pages
This is an automatic notification from status generation scripts on:
https://l10n.gnome.org.

There have been following string additions to module 'epiphany.master':

+ "HTML File"
+ "HTML bookmarks database could not be opened: %s"
+ "HTML bookmarks database could not be parsed: %s"
+ "HTML bookmarks database could not be read."

Note that this doesn't directly indicate a string freeze break, but it
might be worth investigating.

Fwd: Re: Build error

2020-03-07 Thread Hannie Dumoleyn

Hello Andre,

I forgot to CC my answer to Rafael to this list. Why do I see this
button "Help compiling" (Hulp bij compileren) next to the name of the
uploaded file and why does it change to Hulpindex after I have clicked
that button?

In a previous attempt where I clicked that Help button I remember having
seen the message "Build error" and in that file the Dutch text after the
link to gnome.asia was grey instead of black. That is why I translated
the whole string again. For the rest, see my explanation to Rafael.

@ Rafael: I forgot to send you the link to 403 Forbidden when I try to
open the last uploaded translation on [1]. Here it is:

What do you mean by "is not accepted"? Who or what did not accepted?

All I see in the history of actions is that the translation was not
sent to the repository using Damned Lies web interface. It was just
reserved for submission, informed submission and then the actions were
archived. Was it committed via Git command-line interface?

I think the link in the following string may be the

culprit:

"evenement plaats in Gresik, Indonesië, en we willen graag iedereen die

"het succes ervan heeft bijgedragen bedanken. Bedankt, team Gresik!"

I made the mistake to commit the module anyway. Now, when I try to open
the last translation, I get the following message: 403 Forbidden (You
don't have permission to access this resource.)

I was not able to reproduce 403 forbidden. Can you be more specific on
the URL you are not being able to access?

Looks good to me:

The last action on
https://l10n.gnome.org/vertimus/release-notes/gnome-3-36/help/nl/level1/
is "Archive the actions".
I assume that removes the translation proposals, hence the 403 error.
