That's awesome news, great to see new features landing in DL! Thank you, Claude & Andrea! > Hopefully useful for reviewing translations. At GUADEC this year, we thought we could somehow integrate XML validation within the GitLab CI, but doing it in DL sounds better as it gives better visibility to translators. Does building a Mallard page in DL error out on PO merge warnings produced by yelp-tools? I sometimes see them when rolling a new tarball, but the warnings don't fail the make / make distcheck build. In DL they probably should. Cheers, pk ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n
Re: Experimental docs build
Amazing resource. Yesterday I was going to test my translation of help files and started to setup to build the target module, but then I realize I could simply use Damned Lies interface for this task. Thanks a lot for implementing this feature! Re: Experimental docs build
Thanks Claude! Regarding the XML syntax errors we could use gtxml (from PyG3t) to check it. It works great and is written in Python, so should not be difficult to nintegrate it in DL's code. https://github.com/pyg3t/pyg3t 2018-09-17 10:13 GMT+02:00 Claude Paroz : > Hi all, > > I just committed an experimental functionality in Damned Lies to be able > to build the translated documentation with uploaded po files. > You'll find a new button you can use to generate a build from a po file, > just below the link to download it. > Hopefully useful for reviewing translations. Experimental docs build
Hi all, I just committed an experimental functionality in Damned Lies to be able to build the translated documentation with uploaded po files. You'll find a new button you can use to generate a build from a po file, just below the link to download it. Hopefully useful for reviewing translations. We'll see if we can use it to also prevent XML syntax errors from being committed. Thanks Andrea for the sysadmin support.
