Re: Korean translation of GIMP

2019-03-04 Thread Jehan Pagès via gnome-i18n
Hi all!

I realized that we can also get the email of Sensu lun (@cieltero) through
the commit (adding a '.patch' at the end of the URI; special hidden
trick!). So I am adding the contributor in the loop of the current email
thread. Just in case he may not be receiving notifications from gitlab (or
whatever else reason).

Sensu lun > I hope we can get your translations in GIMP. We'd appreciate if
you could cooperate with Changwoo Ryu, who is the Korean team coordinator.

Thanks all!

Re: Korean translation of GIMP

2019-02-18 Thread Daniel Mustieles García via gnome-i18n
+Changwoo Ryu (Korean team coordinator)

Team coordinator should decide what to do in this case. I've not been able
to find commiter's email so I've not added it to the Cc of this email.

I don't remember any question about Korean translations for GIMP, but don't
trust blindly mi memory ;-)

Korean translation of GIMP

2019-02-18 Thread Jehan Pagès via gnome-i18n
Hi Korean team (and everyone else)!

Someone did what looks like a huge job of translating GIMP in Korean, which
was indeed a bit falling behind these years, and proposed it as merge
requests:

For gimp-2-10: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/merge_requests/51
For master: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/merge_requests/54

We told this person on gitlab to not do merge requests, but instead get in
touch with the GNOME Korean team, giving links, etc. We never had any
answer (so I wonder if this person receives the notification or read the
opened request thread at all; we even tried a message in Korean!).

Still, has this person contacted anyone in the GNOME i18n community, and in
particular the Korean team?

If this goes on without contact, we are not sure what we should do in such
case. On one hand, we want Korean localization (currently around 50% if I
read the stats correctly), but we are not going to just merge these commits
like this obviously.
Do you have any advice to go forward?
Because right now these 2 merge requests are just sitting there, and we
have no idea what to do with them (we only leave them opened so that it
stays on sight).

Thanks all!

Jehan
