NetworkManager translation
Hi The NetworkManager module page on damned-lies has a banner that points one to bugzilla.gnome.org for submitting new translations. However NetworkManager is translated in Zanata: https://translate.zanat a.org/project/view/NetworkManager Can we please have the banner updated and point to https://wiki.gnome.o rg/Projects/NetworkManager/L10N and above URL with a sane description? NetworkManager translation in git
Hi all, due to the NetworkManagerthe migration to git, I submitted its Catalan translation there, where it was promptly comitted [1]. However, I see that since then, the statistics [2] have not yet been updated. I am simply wondering whether this is due to its being hosted externally or simply to a normal delay. Hence my question: is there any additional work required (from the translators or from l10n.g.o) to get the statistics updated? Regards, David. From http://mail.gnome.org/archives/networkmanager-list/2008-December/msg00129.html They may bitrot, but they aren't for anything critical, and should not be used for UI strings anyway. Most of them are for GError translations from libnm-util crypto stuff. Some may be for system settings plugins. We'll have to do a bit more work to get them translated, yes, but I don't believe that it's critical. So could we remove NetworkManager from l10n.gnome.org or should we poke NM developers? ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

Re: NetworkManager Translation submissions
Hi, In such cases, the common thing is to file bug reports to add the translations. There are currently two pending, http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=566372 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=565286 However, it would be better to have the thoughts of the maintainer on this as well. Dan, how would you like to receive translations to NetworkManager (from git)? Hello, After the NetworkManager source moved to git.freedesktop.org[1], I can't seem to find any information about where to submit the translations. The .pot file available through l10n.gnome.org is also from the day of the move[2]. Can someone please point me to any announcements/documentation that I might have missed?
