I tested these versions and they don't print the name either, so I
cannot reconcile the email saying not to worry about it, it was fixed..
I wish I could remember when it did work..

From a marketing standpoint I think it would be good to see some number
bump. It could be beneficial in attracting new money into the project,
or new help - both good for every user, biz or home. I know it's not a
1:1 relationship, but there is safety in reliable and predictable
releases
I can tell you that GnuCash is rock solid and reliable. It may be
boring, but it is really stable and really good. To some degree, as
long as it continues to be this good, it really doesn't matter what is
in the hairball, it must be good too :) Think about how many flawless
backups GnuCash

Judging from the very little reaction on this message here, it seems that
almost nobody really cares about the existence of the donation money and/or
what is being done with it. In that case we have to continue to live with
the unclear decision process about the donation account.
I think the
that many other people use the program for other purposes, I
don't want to make things inconvenient for them, so the design I'm sure
will be modified somewhat from my earliest thoughts.

I need someone to create a custom report, and I would like it to be part
of a future version of gnucash, so not a hack or quick fix. I can't
think of anything more important than profit, and would like to nudge
