Perl Modules

Ubuntu 16.04 installs this long list of perl modules when it installs GnuCash from the repo. I don't see this documented anywhere (except for libfinance-quote-perl module). The build instructions don't mention these. Should these be installed when building GnuCash? If so, I would be happy to
