stopped working, supposedly after a Windows 10 update. Did a clean reinstall
of GnuCash, removed all references in the registry, tried different versions
of GnuCash (3.2, 3.4 etc., even 2.6 as far as I remember) and nothing

The error says that "make" is on root's path but not dennis's and that it's a
link to /usr/bin/cmake and that doesn't exist. That's a problem with your
system and you need to clean it up.
When `make uninstall` fails check to see if install_manifest.txt exists in the
build directory. If

I agree it is not generally a problem, but I think it is worth
pointing out in case there are those here who did not realise the
potential risk. I also have never had an issue with a ppa, but if it
is built by a name I do not recognise then I would always have a look
at his/her profile in o

reasonably well known ones
