On a hunch, I right-clicked one of my transactions, and sure enough, there was a ’schedule’ entry there. I don’t think I ever noticed it before. Regards, Adrien > On Oct 22, 2019 w43d295, at 11:46 PM, Adrien Monteleone > wrote: > > Not sure what you mean by ‘from scratch’. I know of no

Not sure what you mean by ‘from scratch’. I know of no automated way to create them. Yes, you can create a single non-recurring scheduled transaction. You can also enter a future transaction. A line should appear in the register after the current date, indicating that lower transactions on the

Is it possible to create a scheduled payment from scratch? If I have a one-off payment to make at some date in the future, can I create a new template in the scheduled transactions editor? -- Peter West p...@pbw.id.au “Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes.”

Not that I’m aware of. I could be conflating the move to turn /bin /lib and /sbin into symlinks pointing to /usr/bin, /usr/lib, & /usr/sbin however. As I mentioned, it has been some time since I read up on it. Regards, Adrien > On Oct 22, 2019 w43d295, at 10:35 PM, Frank H. Ellenberger >

I find searches tend to work best from the CoA tab. Often a register search doesn’t turn up known transactions that match my criteria. You can use more than one criteria in a search. If you want to keep a more broad search result open while you conduct a more narrow one, do the second search

I haven't tried this, but... Perhaps in this situation, barring a restart, you could use the transaction report, using the credit card as the source and the checking as a filter by account. This could further be refined by description, or sorted in a way that could ease the editing burden.

If you have thousands of transactions that were mis-categorized, it would probably be easier to start over, importing in small bunches first to train the importer. I am not sure about the behavior of the search function, I think it has worked that same way for years. David Carlson On Tue, Oct

Thanks, I think a reasonable approach to determine a budget's sign-reversal policy will be: - if budgeted expense amounts are mostly negative, conclude "reversal = income/expense" - otherwise, if budgeted liability amounts are mostly negative, conclude "reversal = none" - otherwise conclude
