[GNC] Minor: Can Gnucash save sort order?

GC ver 4.4, Mac OS 10.15.7. By default, the items in Sales are sorted by date (old to new). I realize that's sensible, but it's easier for me to find something when I change the sort order to Number. However, GC does not save the NUM sort after closing the application. Could it be otherwise?

I believe I found the answer to this. The Budget report (and the Transaction Report) are showing the "expected" values for changes to liability account balances - how much debt I actually paid off this month. The Net Worth Report (and Liabilities Over Time Report) also show "arguably correct" val
