Dear all,
I am not an accountant but with the help of the various threads I have
managed to maintain the accounts for myself, my wife and a small business -
three separately.
My Accountant is quite used to using Xero and prefers I change to it. Xero
makes his work flow easier. I understand that.

Possibly confused about the process.
In gnucash, you don't PRE select the options you want for the report

use the "control" button (on windows & linux, not sure which one it is on a
mac) when you click of the child account names.
