Hi - I’m experience a new problem printing checks on my Mac. I use the
three-part Quicken checks but every time I try to print, it prints the selected
check on all three parts. I’ve printed hundreds of checks and haven’t had this
problem before. Any suggestions/trouble shooting would be very

I just realized that you're using flathub and GnuCash 4.9, so it's definitely
the WebKit problem, https://bugs.gnucash.org/show_bug.cgi?id=798486. Just get
the new 4.10 from flathub and you should be back in business.

As for 'help' go to gnucash.org, left hand menu, you find
'Documentation', 'FAQ', and 'Wiki' links. 'Documentation' offers a 'Help
Guide' and a 'Tutorial & Concepts Guide'.
The Help Guide is geared more toward screen/UI explanations, key combos,
etc.
The Tutorial & Concepts Guide is about 'h

Out of curiosity, were you trying to run gnucash from inside the dmg, or did
you actually copy the app onto your hard drive?

You can't double-click the file to open it, if that is what you are
doing. GnuCash will always open the last used file.
Use File > Open > and then navigate to where file #2 is and open it.
Afterwards, both should appear in your 'recent file list' at the bottom
of the File Menu.

Hello,
I am a old Gnucash user since 2015, I just recently upgraded from 2.6 to 3.11
then to 4.9., and my IMac OS to Catalina 10.15.7. I thought after the upgrade
everything was working fine. I kept two sets of accounting date under different
name ( let’s said #1 and #2) They both works fine af

No reports work. None of my saved reports display info. Nothing from the menu
displays info. Even reports I never run display nothing.
Every report, saved or otherwise, displays a blank report screen. No errors or
warning.

Adrien,
Sort of. Yes, quantity is a multiplier of a commodity, but the way the
commodity is measured affects what are the legitimate fractions the quantity
can use. If you sell something by the kilo and have a scale that's accurate to
the gram then the fraction for that commodity is 1/1000. If
Ha! Best of luck with the keyboard! Check into (Ubuntu) Settings >
Universal Access > Typing > Screen Keyboard.
This will pop-up an on-screen keyboard when a typing field has focus.
That's not the best workaround, but it will help a bit.

As for GnuCash, what about the USB access info f
John,
Sorry I guess I misunderstood your suggestion wrong.
What's throwing me off is that setting up a non-currency commodity isn't
going to help as I see it. Quantity is not a commodity. It is the
multiplier of one.
A line-item on an invoice is always some multiplier of a currency.

John,
From memory there was a bug relating to truncation - see
https://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-user/2021-October/098191.html
for details. I think the work around was to enter the price and then press
enter on the keyboard rather than tabbing out of the field - fixed in 4.9

Check your settings, have you allowed Gnucash to have access to your
Folders - Preferences >> Security & Privacy >> Privacy ? You should have
seen some sort of prompt when attempting to save your file the first time ?

I am trying to set up GNUCash on a Mac Pro running Mojave.
I just downloaded the latest release for Intel Mac.
After doing the preliminary work and setting up the files, I try to save it.
It always tells me that the save attempt is denied.
I am running Intego AntiVirus software. I own the comp
