I just noticed that ctrl-click does not add or remove single accounts in
the account selection window for reports in release 3.8 on Linux but
shift-click will extend or release the range of a group selection. Odd!

Since this works on Win & Mac, I'd bet the issue is a dependency version
on Linux that has an issue.

Works on ubuntu 21.10 although it seems you have to click once and then
click again to remove accounts from selection. Does this help?
