1) View -> Filter By -> Other
uncheck "show zero total accounts"
I forgot about this, as I *never* recommend it, because it is subject to
the "Law of Unintended Consequences."

First all, you can hide individual accounts. However, what I do, is
create an account group called "Prior stocks" & move prior stocks to
that group, & then collapse that group.
