I had the exact same error message appear today also..
W7 with updates switched off so no changes overnight. No updates or changes
to the software at all. Running GC 3.3.
The error appears for me when I select custom options in reports and I
discovered also it was caused by a load of empty
It's a wiki, so any Windows user could add this. Not being a Windows user, I
have no experience with the issue.

Hi!
I am starting over with gnucash, and thought I'd do a clean re-install.
Note, I am on windows, and have removed all the gnucash files I could
find before installing 3.1.
However, now I

I haven't looked into a work around yet, but I agree its highly annoying.
I figure I'll need to uninstall my SD card readers in order to stop the alerts.
Anyone else have any thoughts?
