Did some additional testing as requested.
1. If the Create Automatically is not checked, and it is time to fire
(or past time in my tests) then user is presented the option to review
the transactions (including the ones that were auto-created=Y). If you
click CANCEL then the one not

I just created another test SX transferring $1 from my wallet to savings
set to auto-create 3 days in advance, and notify me on creation. I set
it for 2/14/21. I then closed GnuCash and restarted.
I think its all in the timing.
I ran GNC on 2/5. The transaction read created 2/5 - but didn't appear.
The setting was enter 3 days in advance which it seems it can't/didn't do.
Shut GNC down and reopen days later and it was there. Its not that big a
deal but its a bug for sure.

I'd be happy to file one for you, but I can't reproduce the problem. All
of my SXs show up when they are supposed to and appear in the register
as they are supposed to. I've also created some test transactions and
they also worked correctly.
