I overlooked the separated box for the date for the Price in the options
for Investment Portfolio.

I use the Investment Portfolio to compare my investments with those
reported by my financial institution. The report by the financial
institution is for a specific date, but, of course, the report arrives
some time later.
The Investment Portfolio allows setting the date. However, the
Investment Portfolio report _does not use the Price for the date set_,
but instead uses the last Price recorded. I do not know whether the same
applies to Units that are used in the calculations for the report.
Users need to be aware of the problem, but I and, probably, others would
be grateful if it can be fixed.
My system: gnucash 4.2 on windows 8.1
Thanks to those working on gnucash - it is a terrific program.
