Thanks for the clarification. I updated aqbanking to 6.2.6 and I can see
the HTTP User Agent field now.

Richard, I stopped using USAA a couple of years ago, but I vaguely
remember
I spoke with USAA tech support this morning. They told me GNU software
is not supported due to the software security issues.
Now if any of you are still accessing USAA via the GNU online banking,
there is still hope for me.
I have probably made 10 or more attempts to make it work by
Not certain of the specific differences personally. (you can review the
'News' section of the website for the changelog)
Since you are on Ubuntu, have you considered the Flatpak version?
Current is v4.4. There have been a hundred+ bugs fixed since 3.8/3.9.

Not sure the screenshot helped any, it seems to be stuck on aqbanking.
GnuCash version, OS?
*Exactly* what were you doing and where? (updating the template itself?
updating a transaction created by a template? tabbing through the
debit/credit fields? Entering through? Using formulas? Do you
I think there is a write up on the wiki how to do just that for this case.
Also, a simple spreadsheet would suffice. You can even craft one of the
sheets/tabs to be a CSV file for GnuCash where you can import your
external data for accounting purposes so you don't have to enter it by

system (a la Quickbooks amongst others) could maybe be fashioned from
the "STOCK" register as "Cost of Unit Items", "Stock on Hand" and
"Resale Item Price" are not far removed from what is already there

I went to reinstall gnucash after several crashes, and found two versions
competing for my interest, no dates on them, no explanation of the difference.
I was running 3.9, but the download seems to be 3.8b+. Both have 2019 dates!
3.8 does not crash on scheduled template update amounts.
Hi,
In Edit Security window,
I enter error codes at Type field,

Hi,
Since GNU Cash does not include inventory recording, can anybody recommend an
inventory recording system. I do not need all the inventory management
capabilities, just record keeping, showing purchases, issues and balances in
unit and cost.
Thanks
