[GNC] Importing Accounts with non-English Characters

When I import accounts in a CSV file that contains non-English characters they are "corrupted". For example, Startvärde => Startvärde As a test, I exported accounts (with non-English characters) to a CSV file. The exported accounts look OK in the CSV file. I then imported the file that I just

The trace file associated with a crash just means that GnuCash got far enough into the program to open it before trying to load the library linked to libgncmod-app-utils.dll. That's not meaningful. "GNU FEB 12 2019.gnucash" is a very odd name for a book, but OK. The existence of a lock file

I posted this issue 5 days ago, but I just received "Spam" Auto responders so I am trying again. Meanwhile I have now tried to install v3.11 (on WIN7) and v4.4 (on WIN10). I get this "flat" interface in both cases:
