[GNC] Strange keyboard behaviour with new version

Hi, I upgraded my laptop from Ubuntu 18.04 to 18.10 a little over a month ago. I think the gnucash version changed from 2.6.19 to 3.3 (Ubuntu package versions 1:2.6.19-1 to 1:3.3-2). At first it crashed every time, but I used a xim workaround like this to get it running.

2019-07-09 Thread Adam Funk
Hi, I have somehow managed to miss a GBP10 subtraction from my current account (= American checking account), so I can't reconcile my latest statement. To make matters worse, the opening balance in the reconciliation tool is GBP10 higher than the closing balance of last month's statement. I

My laptop died recently but I managed to recover all of the home directory and I'm setting up another one. Looking through the copy of $HOME from the old one, I find gnucash-related files in the following locations: ~/.gnucash (no files changed since 01/2019) ~/.cache/gnucash
