On the accounts tab, top right corner (down pointing arrow):
Click on: Present or Present(USD)
Depends upon how you want stocks/mutual funds to show up (shares or dollars)

Usually, when I have some scheduled transactions or some expected
transactions for the future, they show up in the balance and in
